Fibrenamics highlights innovation for the future of technical textiles at Techtextil 2026
Fibrenamics will once again be present at Techtextil, the leading international trade fair dedicated to technical textiles and advanced materials, to demonstrate how applied research can transform fibres, structures and composites into solutions with real impact on industry and society. Taking place from 21 to 24 April 2026 in Frankfurt am Main, the 2026 edition will highlight the key drivers reshaping the sector: natural and bio-based materials, recycled and recyclable solutions, and circularity-oriented approaches.
In this context, Fibrenamics’ participation represents an opportunity to showcase sustainable technologies and solutions with applications across multiple sectors, from automotive to construction, and from apparel to defence and protection, reinforcing the role of technical textiles in addressing the challenges of industrial transition.
At the Fibrenamics stand, visitors will have the opportunity to explore some of our main R&D+i developments in technical textiles, focused on more sustainable, smart and high-performance solutions with strong industrial application potential. Featured projects will be presented under three strategic pillars of applied innovation:
-
GREEN – materials and processes focused on sustainability, circularity and resource valorisation;
-
SMART – functional composites and solutions with integrated functionalities;
-
HIGH PERFORMANCE – advanced technologies for demanding contexts, focused on performance, robustness and protection.
