Fibrenamics Session – FlexCompact, a highlighted reference project at JEC World
In addition to the exhibition of projects at the booth, João Bessa, R&D+I Manager at the Fibrenamics Institute, will participate, together with Claudia Costa, R&D Manager at Surforma, in a presentation session of one of the R&D projects developed by Fibrenamics.
The presentation, titled "FlexCompact: redefining composite applications with thermoformable, sustainable solutions," will take place on March 4th, from 2:00 PM to 2:25 PM, at Agora5.
FlexCompact is a lightweight and durable composite material, developed with thermoplastic resins and layers of kraft paper. It is ideal for applications in architecture, interior design, and mobility, enabling the creation of complex shapes with high structural integrity and fire resistance.
Furthermore, FlexCompact’s sustainable approach supports recyclability and reuse, contributing to an environmentally responsible life cycle aligned with circular economy practices.
* The FlexCompact project is promoted by Surforma, SA.
