Suppliers Evaluation

Supplier Evaluation Process

The supplier evaluation process at Fibrenamics is implemented under the framework of the ISO 9001:2015 Management System. It applies to the assessment of all suppliers.

All suppliers are considered qualified at the start of their supply relationship, following an evaluation conducted during their selection process.

The evaluation is carried out by the Quality Manager on an annual basis to ensure the results are reviewed during the Integrated Management System (IMS) review. The assessment is based on the following criteria, rated on a scale from 1 (Very Unsatisfactory) to 5 (Excellent). Suppliers with no identified non-conformities are automatically considered qualified:

  • Q - Quality of Supply (Weight: 40%): Conformance of products or services to specifications and absence of defects.
  • P - Timeliness of Deliveries (Weight: 30%): Adherence to agreed delivery timelines.
  • C - Responsiveness (Weight: 20%): Speed and effectiveness in communication and problem resolution.
  • c - Certifications and Compliance (Weight: 10%): Possession of relevant certifications and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

For suppliers with identified non-conformities, the Quality and Innovation Department calculates the Supplier Index (IF) as follows:

IF=(Q×0.4)+(P×0.3)+(C×0.2)+(c×0.1)IF=(Q×0.4)+(P×0.3)+(C×0.2)+(c×0.1)

The organization considers a supplier to be non-qualified if the IF score is equal to or less than 2. For such cases, the Quality and Innovation Manager determines the necessary corrective actions to ensure that the supplier's deficiencies do not compromise the implemented Integrated Management System.
